In his lecture Vitaly offers insight into the history, language and cultural traditions of the Khanty people. The programme presents the everyday life and identity of the West Siberian Khanty, as well as the challenges their community and mother tongue face today. The lecture is an excellent opportunity to learn at first hand about the rich cultural heritage of one of the closest linguistic relatives of the Finno-Ugric peoples.
